Porn Star April Rayne came and went from the hardcore business just like the ephemeral showers that she took as her nom-de-porn. She was an extremely youthful and sexually energetic performer who got into hardcore just after her 18th birthday. April Rayne shot through the porno firmament in a hurry, going from all-natural cutie to enhanced-boobed, nose-jobbed sex siren in just over a year.

April Rayne's undeniable youthful appeal was first put on display for hardcore audiences in 1990. She quickly built up a reputation for full-throttle lust in flicks like 'Backdoor To Harley-wood 2' and 'Butt Naked 1,' low-budget quickies that still made the most of April Rayne's luscious curves and fiery sexual antics. Of course, April Rayne's all-natural appeal also stood out in a sea of silicone-inflated strumpets.

Within a year, though, April Rayne had given in to the prevailing industry standard and gotten her front end realigned with the help of a plastic surgeon. She then confounded the business again by leaving the scene shortly after getting all her chassis work done!

April Rayne left behind over 70 scintillating sexvid appearances, regardless of her short stint in the field. Just check out her lusty romping with Tom Byron in 'Putting It All Behind 1' or 'Little Miss Curious' to catch an energetic young starlet at the height of her sexual powers. April Rayne's best scene, though, would have to be her over-the-top workout with Sean Michaels and Marc Wallice in 'Anal Encounters 3.' She drives the scene forward with her lusty exuberance and intensity, getting the best of both of her well-seasoned costars.

April Rayne left the hardcore industry in late 1991 in order to pursue her dream of becoming a mainstream actress. Working under the name April Rayne, she landed a decent role in the 1992 indie comedy 'Hold Me, Kiss Me, Thrill Me,' playing a wacky, sexy character named Sabra. That was to be the high point of her mainstream career, though. She eventually drifted out of the business, and has since gotten married and settled down in the San Francisco bay area.

Lots of rumors of a drug overdose floated around her name for a time, but an interview in Ian Glitter's book 'Porn Star' set the record straight. She's very much alive and well, and appreciates the concern that fans showed when they thought she had passed on. April Rayne's still fondly remembered by fans of early 90s porn as one of the freshest, most vibrant personalities on the scene.
