Animated Haggadah Description: "Combining Jewish tradition with claymation, Animated Haggadah tells the story of the origin and importance of the Passover holiday. At Seder dinner, which celebrates Passover, Danny is seated with his family as the reading of the Haggadah begins. They are transported through the power of the text to ancient Egypt, where the Jews are enslaved by the tyrannical Pharaoh Ramses II. Passover observes the moment when the Angel of Death "passed over" the homes of the Jews while killing the first-born sons of the Egyptians as punishment for the Pharaoh's refusal to release the slaves. The holiday celebrates the freedom gained by the Jews after this horrible reprimand. Animated Haggadah presents a claymation version of the traditional Haggadah, read at Seder dinners to celebrate Passover."
