Around the Fire Description: "Simon, an upper class Manhattan teenager is haunted by the death of his mother and angry with the sudden re-marrying of his father to a woman Simon suspected was having an affair with his father long before his mother died. At boarding school he meets Andrew who introduces him to marijuana and LSD. Simon is immersed into a new world where dreamers, artists, flower children and partiers spend the better part of their lives on tour at music festivals. Though a relationship with a beautiful young hippie and eventual struggle with drug abuse and rehabilitation, Simon is made to take a look at the self-destructive emotional turmoil deep within.
