Boney M EP Description: "This Special Edition DVD-EP captures original rare TV recordings of hit tracks such as Daddy Cool, Sunny, Belfast, and Rasputin from the very pinnacle of their career. In 1974, German Record Producer Frank Farian recorded the song Baby, Do You Wanna Bump, under the name Boney M. After several TV channels wanted to book Boney M for live shows, Frank stepped aside and an agent drafted four West Indian vocalists – Marcia Barrett, Liz Mitchell, Mazie Williams, and Bobby Farrell. Their first Top 10 hit, Daddy Cool was released in 1976 and reached number 6 on the UK charts. Their sound, a mix of reggae, disco, funk, gospel, soul, and rock hit the charts around the world like a bomb. Soon everyone knew the name and the music of Boney M."
