Car Of Dreams Description: "In this musical comedy, the hero is a youthful John Mills near the start of his cinematic career, starring as the playboy son of a music factory tycoon who woos the girl of his dreams by anonymously giving her a Rolls-Royce. Little does he know that beautiful Vera, played by Grete Mosheim, is a poor shop girl who works at his father's factory. When he discovers this, he tries to conceal his identity to avoid a family scandal. This charming comedy offers fascinating glimpses of 1930s London and in a supporting role features British comedian Robertson Hare, who later appeared on Benny Hill, stealing a scene at the music factory with his trumbone testing sequence."
